Mario Boella

Mario Boella, graduated in business administration at Bocconi University, is Chartered Accountant and Registered Auditor.

He was Partner and CEO of KPMG S.p.A. and Head of Professional Practice and Risk Management for the KPMG Italia network as well as a member of the European Technical Committee within KPMG International.

Boella is Chairman of ASSIREVI (Association of the Italian Audit Firms) since 2006.

He represents ASSIREVI in the working tables aimed at issuing of Auditing and Ethical & lndependence Standards under the agreement with the Ministry of Economy and Finance and Consob.

He is a member of the Supervisory Board of OIC – Organismo ltaliano di Contabilità (the Italian Accounting Standard Setter) and the Board of Trustees of OIV – Organismo Italiano di Valutazione (the Italian Valuation Standard Setter);

He is a speaker in several conferences on Auditing and Assurance, Governance and Internal Control Systems.
